The Epona Institute is dedicated to the study of the hoof and equine biomechanics. Our clinics give participants a unique opportunity to learn how EponaShoe can help both horses and hoof care professionals reach their maximum performance potential. Our clinics earn credits for AAPF members.

We cover the Epona Method, including; hoof measurement, calibration, trimming, nailing, incorporating scientific techniques with X-Ray and cutting edge software into your shoeing regiment.  We offer exclusive training and insider tips and tricks in the art of glueing for ultimate versatility. Hands-on training and individual attention to each clinic participant allows you to learn to customize EponaShoe for your own needs and incorporate EponaShoe with your own methods. We also demonstrate severe therapeutic cases & how to maximize your success with X-Ray, glue, packing material, and Epona Casting Hooks.

A Sound Horse and a Longer Riding Career When Using EponaShoe
EponaShoe is the premier composite shoe for the health, wellness and longevity of your horse. Our shoes are designed to benefit any horse by using high tech polyurethane materials to create a shoe which can flex with the hoof. It has a built-in softer pad on the sole side to offer natural support while avoiding any pressure points on the frog or sole.  The EponaShoe was designed so that it can be glued on the horse’s foot as an alternative to nailing. Of course, it can be nailed like a conventional shoe, but if you’d like to avoid the nail damage to the hoof wall, you can choose the glue option.
